The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie status sassa and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area every day. The provider point developed for intervention encounters a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will sassa mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
